| My Radio career has spanned almost twenty years starting with the "graveyard" shift at MFM in North Wales. Within a year I sent my demo to many stations up and down the UK. Three got back to me that were interested in meeting me. Capital FM, where I got to meet Richard Park and more importantly Kenny Everett !. Radio One, auditioned and shortlisted me for an early breakfast show, and Metro FM. I took the gig with Metro in 1990 and presented early moring shows and very sucessful audience winning love shows on Friday and Saturdays nights. In 1997, I started working for EMAP and enjoyed being part of the initial line-up for Magic 1161 presenting all shows across the daytime including breakfast. In 2002 a network show became available in the Northeast my show called "Secrets with Sam" covered the north of England. |
